"I was looking for a handyman when I ran across CHORE Masters. I was concerned that concierge service was costly overkill for me, but after talking to them I decided to try one of their annual packages. Since the package included a home inspection and some handyman hours that would have cost me about the amount of the annual fee, I figured I had nothing to lose. "

First of all, everyone at Chore Masters has been helpful, friendly and responsive. For example, I left a message after 7pm one evening not long ago, not expecting a call back until the next day. I even said in the message that my toilet was leaking, but it wasn’t an emergency so they could call the next day. They still called me back within an hour AND they had a plumber at my house by 1pm the next day. Now, that is service and this is an example where they saved me a ton of time and stress. I had a great plumber I usually use, but it would often take 2-7 days before he’d call me back and even longer to get him out here. I don’t know about you, but when I need a plumber that’s too long to wait. Instead of having to call a bunch of plumbers to find one who could get out to me before I spent a fortune in water bills, I made one call and got a really wonderful plumber who charged me an extremely reasonable price. 

As far as the home inspection that came with the annual membership, my house is only 12 years old and I take good care of it, but they found a couple of issues that would have cost me money, which they fixed proactively for me. I also had a clogged drain and a few kitchen outlets that weren’t working. I was dreading the cost to get an electrician and plumber for those two small issues, but I’d tried fixing them myself with no luck. The handyman they sent to do the inspection was able to fix both issues during the inspection so that alone paid for the annual membership as far as I’m concerned! Even better, I could once again use the previously broken sink and outlets! The handyman was so wonderful that I had him come out the next week to use some of my included handyman hours for a number of projects I’d wanted to do, like cutting out a door to install a pet door and hanging my bike from the garage ceiling. 

If you are busy and frugal like me, but you prefer not to research and vet a new service person each time something new goes wrong with your house, look no further. Do what I did and give this a try for a year and I bet you’ll also decide that concierge service isn’t a luxury. It’s actually a great value that saves you time, money and stress!"
