Why this blog?

You pose a great question. Why this blog? What is it? What's it for? And really - most importantly - why should I follow it?

It seems like everybody and their grandmother is blogging these days. Kind of true, but there is a good reason for it. Blogs connect people. A personal blog allows the world to hear what that individual has to say on any given topic or topics. Whether it's blogging online, or vlogging (short for video-blogging, typically done in conjunction with YouTube), a blog is a great way to share information.

So what about a company running a blog? That is becoming more and more prevelant as the internet becomes an ever-creasingly imprtant tool in marketing strageties.

BUT WAIT. I just said marketing strategy. Does that mean this blog is going to be used as one big advertisement?

NO.

ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT.

But we're all friends here, so lets be transparant - this blog is run by me, Caleb Kerr, an employee of CHORE Masters, LLC based in Austin. The goal is not to run ads for our company, but to engage the community with useful and interesting content, some of which is relevant to our home services industry, and some that is not. 

The goal of this blog is to inform you all about Austin, its vibrant community, its local businesses, and it's people. We will feature spotlights on individuals here, bring you relevant information, as well as provide people interested in moving to Austin with a little bit of an insight into what goes on here and just how great it really is.
